王怀宇，1966年出生，汉族。吉林镇赉人。1989年毕业于东北师大中文系。历任吉林省群众艺术馆馆员，《参花》杂志社文学编辑、副主任、副主编、执行主编社长兼主编，副编审。现任吉林省艺术研究院副院长。1989年开始发表作品。1999年加入中国作家协会。
